Sky Force Reloaded Best Level For Stars

There is a bit of a grind involved, due to the upgrade mechanic. Some levels are quite difficult, which literally require you to collect stars, die, upgrade and then try again. Thankfully, it doesn't really feel like a grind, since the action is so damn good. Not only that, but each time you have to re-try you're stronger, you've learnt more of their patterns and it doesn't disappoint when you do get further.
Downed enemies leave behind stars to collect. These make a very satisfying sound when you scoop them up, and they also act as currency between levels. Numerous upgrades are available for purchase, including health, main cannon upgrades, wing cannons that add small auxiliary shots to your weapon, a star magnet, homing missiles, and three power ups. All of these have ten levels of upgrades to purchase, so it'll take quite a few hours to max out your ship's armaments.
Destructible crates appear in various spots throughout each level. These contain stars, power-ups, and occasionally, collectible cards. Sky Force has 22 cards to find. Cards bestow permanent bonuses, such as increased fire rate, missile damage, and cheaper upgrades. The two most important card effects give an increased chance of finding cards and double all stars collected. The chance of finding cards is generally low, but increases on higher difficulties. Level 6 seems to be the best level to grind for them.
The Xbox One version of Sky Force offers 26 Achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore. Only the first player can earn Achievements. Some are level-specific, such as collecting all of the stars on Level 5 and completing level 8 without the use of power-ups (fairly tough). Mercifully, players only need to collect 100 medals for an Achievement, out of a possible 144 medals. You can get by without fully mastering the hardest stages.
Most gamers don't care so much about score, though. Today's gamer generally needs concrete objectives to work towards. Sky Force Anniversary hits the mark because it has a fun upgrade system and loads of objectives to complete on every level. You can still play for score, doing your best on the highest difficulty levels and/or participating in the weekly tournaments. Whatever the case, you won't find many shmups with more universal staying power than Sky Force.
As you journey across the stars in Borderlands, you'll find out pretty early on that enemies will stick a certain level range when entering new areas and taking on missions. This means that - for the most part - if you pass on a side mission and go back later, you'll likely find both the difficulty and rewards well below your level.
However, Mayhem Mode changes this, as it will bring all the chests up to your level along with all other loot and enemies in the region. With Red Chests, you can re-open them each time you quit the game and start anew, while Typhon Dead Drops can only be looted once - so make sure you think hard about when you want to open these. If you miss your chance to get the best loot for your level, come back once you've beaten the game to unlock the other dead drops with Mayhem Mode enabled.
Answer from: CatalystAt a certain point it stops being fun and just annoying. I went through easily three quarters of the level and got nothing. I'm not spending money to get all the best stuff so if it isn't going to be worth the effort why bother? Transparent money- making. If you don't max out your health you won't survive. That means lots of lives, lots of stars or money. Nope.
Answer from: XienwolfYou don't need ANY upgrades at all for stage 5. Let the EMP hit you the moment it appears, then move through the level avoiding all of the VERY slow and predictable bullets/lasers. Personally, was searching in vain for a tip on where my last 4 stars are. Always finish with 596 (99%) stars. Still damn good payout for the time and effort.
Answer from: SputukLevel 5 starts as an exercise in avoiding bullets. To save all the people etc. While collecting all stars. If you have upgraded your magnet, that's a lot easier.A little later, you'll get a card which disables the initial barrier and instead you have to avoid an EMP missile - that makes destroying all the towers possible.By the time I get to insane difficulty, I'm struggling but enjoying the challenge. I've very nearly completed the level with the ship with extra health, and I've got a long way through destroying everything with the ship starting with the full firepower, and I've almost collected all the guys using the ship with the quicker rescue - but I haven't quite managed any of the challenges yet. I keep fumbling the power up of the main canon or missing the EMP missile sneaking up on me, or just wander into a bullet I missed seeing under my finger.Anyone stuck on this level - stick with it. I agree it's a challenge, but it's not impossible. The feeling of satisfaction when you beat it is worth it :)

Sky Force Reloaded is a 2006 Shoot 'Em Up game by Infinite Dreams Inc., and the second game in the Sky Force series. The game starts off with you in control of a rather weak plane that can only slowly fire one shot at a time, but it can be gradually upgraded with stars you collect in the levels for much greater firepower, both by increasing the power of your main weapon and unlocking new ones. This in turn enables you to complete later levels and higher difficulties, which reward more stars to upgrade with, and so on. There are also temporary power-ups to be found in every level, including weapon upgrades which can increase your fire rate up to ten times, and the shield, laser, and megabomb power-ups which can be used on demand for temporary invulnerability, a piercing attack, and a Smart Bomb, respectively. Other unlockables include parts for new planes with special abilities, technicians that can provide their own unique advantages, and cards, which can provide various permanent or temporary boosts. 2b1af7f3a8
